TECHNICIAN / SUPERVISOR (SHOE FACTORY)

* Spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive quality control policy, driving technical excellence and ensuring adherence to industry standards. * Lead quality evaluations and reporting on vendor quality systems, guaranteeing compliance with expected requirements. * Architect and manage the inspection process for incoming materials, leveraging expertise in AQL inspection systems to ensure seamless quality control. * Drive the resolution of quality issues in production and buyer COC, developing and implementing corrective action plans to achieve permanent solutions. * Analyze and interpret production quality findings, providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making and minimize reworks. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of design files and records. * Provide technical support and guidance to production teams, empowering them to meet quality standards and drive excellence. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with buyers, ensuring independent management of quality assurance and compliance with industry standards. * Conduct technical audits and inspections, including maintenance and stitching audits, to guarantee adherence to quality protocols. * Design and deliver training programs for unskilled workers, fostering a culture of quality and excellence. * Partner with design and development teams to create innovative footwear prototypes and production-ready patterns, incorporating technical requirements and design specifications. * Manage the development and modification of lasts, prioritizing comfort, performance, and aesthetic appeal. * Maintain accurate records of last measurements, patterns, tooling, and SOPs, ensuring seamless access to critical information. * Review and refine SOPs with factories, guaranteeing compliance with required standards and driving continuous improvement. * Drive innovation and stay ahead of industry trends, materials, and technologies, informing design and development decisions and fueling growth.
