Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead the delivery of comprehensive support services to survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) at One Stop Crisis Centers and Cells, driving a survivor-centered approach to address the complex needs of women and girls.
* Foster a culture of empathy and understanding, providing counseling, medical, and legal assistance to GBV survivors, and connecting them with vital resources and services.
* Collaborate with local authorities, healthcare providers, and community leaders to strengthen GBV prevention and response mechanisms, promoting a coordinated and effective response to GBV incidents.
* Develop and implement outreach strategies to raise awareness about GBV services, targeting vulnerable populations, including widows, divorced women, and separated women, to ensure they have access to essential support.
* Manage and maintain accurate records of GBV cases, analyzing data to identify trends and patterns, and informing program development and policy advocacy efforts.
* Drive the integration of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and GBV prevention and response services, ensuring that survivors receive comprehensive and holistic support.
* Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations, government agencies, and stakeholders to leverage resources, expertise, and influence, and advance the rights of women and girls.
* Lead training and capacity-building initiatives for healthcare providers, social workers, and community volunteers, enhancing their skills and knowledge to respond to GBV and provide high-quality support services.
* Advocate for policy and legislative reforms that promote the rights of women and girls, and address the root causes of GBV, working closely with government agencies, civil society organizations, and community leaders.
* Ensure that GBV services are accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of diverse populations, including women with disabilities, ethnic minorities, and other marginalized groups.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Psychology
- Master of Social Science (MSS) in Psychology
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social services, social work or any other related subject
