Supervisor, Health and Safety

* Drive compliance with health and safety policies, procedures, and ISO 45001 requirements to ensure a safe working environment. * Lead the execution and enforcement of health and safety programs, promoting a culture of safety across the organization. * Conduct thorough accident investigations and reporting, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. * Design and deliver training programs for employees on various health and safety topics, enhancing their knowledge and skills. * Architect and administer certification programs for high-risk task performers, such as forklift operators, electricians, and scaffolders. * Inspect and maintain firefighting systems, EHS equipment, and plant machinery to ensure they are in good working condition. * Manage the allocation, delivery, and evaluation of personal protective equipment, ensuring employees have the necessary gear to perform their jobs safely. * Oversee the requisition, delivery, and control of safety equipment, ensuring timely and efficient access to necessary resources. * Develop and lead various brigades, including spill response, first aid, evacuation, and fire brigade services, to respond to emergencies and minimize risks. * Collaborate with the implementation of the plant's ergonomic program, promoting a safe and healthy work environment. * Perform additional duties as required by management, supporting the overall operation and safety of the organization.
