Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead procurement strategies for construction materials, driving cost-effective sourcing and timely delivery to project sites. * Foster a network of reliable suppliers, negotiating competitive prices, terms, and delivery schedules to meet project requirements. * Architect and implement vendor selection processes, preparing comparative statements and ensuring seamless purchase order issuance. * Cultivate strong relationships with existing vendors, identifying new suppliers, and monitoring vendor performance to ensure quality, delivery, and cost standards are met. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including site engineers, store departments, and project management, to ensure material requirements and stock levels are aligned. * Drive inventory management, avoiding shortages or overstocking, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to project sites. * Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of procurement processes, including purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and contracts. * Ensure procurement processes adhere to company policies and audit requirements, identifying opportunities for process improvements. * Analyze market trends and track price fluctuations of construction materials, providing insights to inform procurement decisions. * Optimize costs and identify savings opportunities, working closely with project management and engineering teams to drive cost-effective solutions. * Liaise with key stakeholders, including accounts and store teams, to resolve supply-related issues promptly and avoid project delays. * Provide data-driven reports on procurement status and cost analysis, supporting business growth and informed decision-making.

Education

  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with local supplier markets and logistics
  • Willingness to visit project sites when required
