* Drive the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems, adhering to work orders, drawings, and supervisor instructions to meet section assignments. * Execute preventive maintenance and emergency repairs to prevent damage and ensure system integrity. * Champion a culture of compliance, adhering to departmental policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure controlled and consistent work practices. * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, driving sustainability, productivity, and cost reduction in systems, processes, and practices. * Collaborate on the preparation of timely and accurate reports, meeting section and departmental requirements, policies, and quality standards. * Prioritize health and safety, maintaining awareness of relevant rules and ensuring safe working practices when using assigned tools and equipment. * Develop and maintain competence in using specialized tools and equipment, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices. * Lead the analysis of piping systems, applying analytical thinking to diagnose issues and develop effective solutions. * Foster a results-driven approach, driving projects forward with creativity and a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes. * Work closely with cross-functional teams, including welders and fabricators, to ensure seamless project execution and knowledge sharing. * Apply technical expertise to read and interpret piping and mechanical drawings, performing tasks such as tack welding and arc welding of small-diameter steel piping. * Conduct pressure testing of piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
