* Drive the operation and maintenance of machine tools, including lathes, milling, drilling, and grinding machines, to support shipbuilding and marine equipment production. * Fabricate, modify, and repair metal parts with precision, ensuring adherence to technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. * Interpret complex technical documents, including blueprints and specifications, to inform machining processes. * Conduct precise measurements using specialized instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to ensure accuracy and quality. * Lead the maintenance and upkeep of machinery, performing routine inspections and troubleshooting mechanical issues to minimize downtime. * Champion safety protocols, adhering to strict safety standards and shipyard regulations to ensure a secure working environment. * Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to install and align mechanical components onboard vessels, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. * Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results under pressure. * Contribute to a culture of teamwork and open communication, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues to drive collective success.
