* Drive logistics operations and activities, ensuring timely and effective delivery of food assistance to beneficiaries through standard processes and procedures. * Manage the procurement and delivery of commodities and supplies, coordinating with authorized partners and destinations to meet deadlines. * Oversee vendor contracting activities, including performance monitoring and measurement, to ensure compliance with logistics standards. * Resolve technical queries and requests for support, providing timely and accurate solutions with a focus on exceptional client service. * Analyze inventory management processes, tracking trends and accounting for inventory status from source to beneficiary, while ensuring data quality and integrity. * Execute logistics operations, processing documentation, and resolving operational issues, escalating complex problems to supervisors as needed. * Compile data, produce reports, and ensure information accuracy in corporate systems, supporting informed decision-making and strategic planning. * Lead warehouse management in the absence of regular staff, maintaining efficient space-planning, organized commodity storage, and adherence to WFP warehouse standards. * Develop and train partner warehouse staff, including casual laborers, to enhance their skills and performance. * Conduct inspections of cooperating partners' warehouses, providing guidance on efficient space utilization and storage practices that align with WFP standards. * Foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and colleagues, to drive logistics excellence and achieve shared goals. * Architect and implement process improvements, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall logistics performance.
