Senior Manager / AGM – Quality (Denim Expert)

* Spearhead the quality function, driving excellence and compliance across all stages of denim manufacturing, from raw materials to final shipment. * Architect and implement comprehensive quality systems, spanning cutting, sewing, washing, finishing, and packing, to ensure seamless operations. * Drive compliance with buyer requirements, AQL standards, and regulatory frameworks, ensuring adherence to stringent quality benchmarks. * Oversee rigorous inspection processes, including in-line, pre-final, and final checks, to guarantee product quality and consistency. * Establish and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality benchmarks, fostering a culture of excellence within the organization. * Champion root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives, implementing proactive measures to prevent defects and drive continuous improvement. * Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, including production, merchandising, washing, and technical teams, to optimize efficiency and reduce defects. * Manage supplier relationships, ensuring high-quality fabrics, trims, and accessories, and resolving issues promptly to minimize disruptions. * Develop and lead a high-performing quality team, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations to enhance skills and expertise. * Ensure adherence to ISO, OEKO-TEX, RSL, and buyer-specific standards, maintaining a robust compliance framework. * Analyze quality data, identifying trends and providing actionable insights to top management, informing strategic decisions and driving business growth. * Successfully navigate customer audits, third-party inspections, and other quality assessments, ensuring favorable outcomes and maintaining customer trust. * Prioritize waste reduction, cost control, and process optimization, driving efficiency and sustainability across the organization. * Stay at the forefront of industry trends, washing techniques, and quality innovations, applying knowledge to drive continuous improvement and stay ahead of the competition.
