Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead emergency admissions and IPD service readiness in critical situations, ensuring seamless execution. * Drive day-to-day operations of the In-Patient Department, fostering a culture of efficiency and exceptional service delivery. * Oversee patient admission and discharge processes, guaranteeing accuracy, timeliness, and patient satisfaction. * Optimize hospital resource utilization by analyzing bed management, patient flow, and occupancy status. * Resolve patient complaints and grievances promptly, upholding service quality standards and ensuring effective issue resolution. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including doctors, nursing staff, and other departments, to deliver cohesive patient care and operational excellence. * Ensure strict adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements, maintaining meticulous documentation and compliance. * Conduct regular IPD rounds to assess service quality, cleanliness, and patient experience, identifying areas for improvement. * Empower clinical and non-clinical teams to overcome operational challenges and enhance workflow efficiency. * Develop and analyze operational reports to inform data-driven decisions on admissions, discharges, complaints, and patient satisfaction. * Mentor front-line staff on patient handling, effective communication, and service excellence, elevating the patient experience. * Facilitate open communication between patients, attendants, and hospital staff, ensuring a patient-centric approach. * Architect and implement process improvements, quality initiatives, and strategic enhancements within IPD operations. * Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and ethical conduct, maintaining trust and integrity in all interactions.

Requirements

Education

  • Masters
  • Bachelor/Honors

Additional

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and supervise IPD staff
  • Proficiency in hospital management software, electronic medical records (EMR), MS Excel, and reporting tools
  • Strong ability to manage emergencies and high-pressure situations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to address patient grievances and resolve conflicts
  • Strong coordination skills
  • Understanding of hospital workflows and process optimization
