Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead the implementation of stringent hygiene and sanitation protocols across all resort departments, ensuring seamless compliance with HACCP, food safety regulations, and local health standards.
* Drive adherence to Bangladesh health regulations and food safety protocols, guaranteeing a safe and healthy environment for guests and employees.
* Conduct rigorous audits and inspections to monitor hygiene standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
* Oversee food handling and presentation practices in buffet operations, live cooking stations, and banquet events, ensuring exceptional quality and safety.
* Foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including the Executive Chef, F&B Manager, and Housekeeping Manager, to maintain world-class hygiene standards.
* Architect and deliver comprehensive hygiene training programs, focusing on F&B and stewarding teams, to equip employees with the knowledge and skills to excel.
* Manage cleaning schedules, deep cleaning plans, and sanitation procedures, ensuring all operational areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness.
* Champion environmentally responsible waste management practices, aligning with the resort's sustainability goals and minimizing its ecological footprint.
* Coordinate with external vendors to implement effective pest control programs, safeguarding the resort's environment and reputation.
* Maintain meticulous records of hygiene audits, temperature logs, and corrective actions, ensuring transparency and accountability.
* Investigate and resolve guest complaints or internal incidents related to hygiene, implementing swift and effective corrective measures.
* Ensure the safe handling, storage, and usage of chemicals, adhering to strict safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
* Provide support and expertise during internal and external audits, including brand audits and government inspections, to guarantee seamless compliance and excellence.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor/Honors
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Hospitality Management, or related field
- Professional certification in HACCP / Food Safety Management
Additional
- Experience in large-scale buffet operations and high-volume F&B service
