Key Responsibilities
• Deliver exceptional, 24/7 medical care to critically ill neonates and pediatric patients in the NICU/PICU, driving optimal health outcomes.
• Architect personalized treatment plans through meticulous initial assessments, diagnoses, and management of admitted patients, adhering to established clinical protocols.
• Lead ongoing patient monitoring, tracking vital signs, clinical progress, and responses to treatment, ensuring timely interventions.
• Collaborate with senior medical professionals to perform complex procedures, including intubation, ventilation, and resuscitation, while maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Drive emergency response efforts, rapidly addressing critical situations, including neonatal and pediatric resuscitation, to ensure prompt and effective treatment.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment strategies, prescribing medications, fluids, and nutritional support in accordance with standard guidelines.
• Manage comprehensive patient records, maintaining accuracy, and up-to-date information, including progress notes, treatment charts, and discharge summaries.
• Foster strong relationships with parents/guardians through effective communication, providing transparent updates on patient conditions, treatment plans, and prognoses.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams, working closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless, high-quality patient care.
• Champion infection control practices, adhering to hospital policies and protocols, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives, participating in clinical audits, case discussions, and medical education programs to enhance professional expertise.
• Provide logistical support during patient transfers, ensuring smooth transitions within or outside the hospital.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards, maintaining patient confidentiality, and demonstrating professional conduct in all interactions.

Education
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
