Senior Merchandiser

* Drive development monitoring, assessing factory capabilities to produce individual products and ensuring optimal production planning. * Architect cost negotiation strategies, leveraging component dynamics to secure the best prices for products and customers, while ensuring accurate cost sheets and consumption data. * Lead sales contract issuance, ensuring timely and approved contracts within 14 days of purchase orders, and uploading orders into SAP. * Manage production capacity, ensuring suitable bookings and production plans are in place to meet delivery targets, and that production plans include technical standards, material readiness, and technical risk assessments. * Oversee delivery management, monitoring production, managing critical paths, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and resolve issues promptly. * Coordinate trims management, sourcing from nominated suppliers, benchmarking trim costs, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. * Facilitate letters of credit, monitoring the opening of B2B letters of credit, following up on shipping documents, and maintaining records of export and order quantities. * Streamline supply chain management, ensuring factories adhere to customer forwarder SLAs, tracking container status and vessel schedules, and collecting shipping documents in a timely manner. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date critical path trackers, managing critical path meetings with customers and buyers, and reporting on-time booking and delivery performance. * Guide and coordinate activities across merchandising, technical, QA, and fabric teams, providing clear tasks and direction to Assistant Merchandisers. * Optimize capacity management, tracking running capacity in factories, negotiating lead times with suppliers, and aiming to reduce lead times for customers. * Develop initial pricing in internal costing tools, ERP, and SAP, including pre-costing, accessories pricing, and consumption details, and generate price quotations in ERP/SAP.
