Key Responsibilities
• Spearhead import operations, overseeing the entire process from letter of credit establishment to shipment tracking and delivery.
• Drive regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to EPZ, Customs, and Bond regulations to mitigate risks.
• Foster collaborative relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers, freight forwarders, and banks, to facilitate seamless clearance of goods.
• Architect and implement robust documentation control, monitoring and verifying import papers such as invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
• Navigate duty-free and bonded import procedures, ensuring alignment with EPZ requirements and optimizing duty savings.
• Develop and maintain meticulous records and reports of all import transactions, enabling data-driven decision-making.
• Interface with cross-functional teams, including Production, Planning, and Store, to guarantee timely availability of raw materials and minimize supply chain disruptions.
• Optimize logistics costs and drive cost-effectiveness in import operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
• Lead audit preparedness, ensuring all commercial documents are accurate, complete, and up-to-date to facilitate smooth audits.
• Stay abreast of evolving government policies, customs rules, and trade regulations, applying this knowledge to inform import strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
Additional
- Strong knowledge of EPZ, Customs, Bond, and Import regulations
- Experience in handling L/Cs and banking procedures
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
