Cutting Manager, Knit Garments

* Spearhead the Cutting Department, leveraging cutting-edge auto cutting and spreading machines to drive seamless operations and maximize efficiency. * Oversee and manage all cutting-related activities, ensuring meticulous monitoring, control, and accountability. * Drive compliance with diverse buyer specifications and requirements from around the world, including American, European, and other international markets. * Utilize in-depth knowledge of fabric consumption, pattern grading, CAD marker, fabric construction, and size sets to inform data-driven decisions. * Apply expertise in knit garments manufacturing processes and risk assessment to minimize errors and optimize production. * Champion technical SOPs for major buyers, ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards. * Architect style-wise patterns and grading to eliminate cutting errors and guarantee precision. * Validate pattern accuracy, verifying measurements to ensure garments meet exacting specifications. * Maintain 100% compliance in cutting operations, upholding the highest standards of quality and efficiency. * Coordinate with internal stakeholders to receive fabric from storage, ensuring approved consumption levels and verifying fabric quality during laying. * Secure QC approval for size sets and bulk cutting, ensuring meticulous attention to detail. * Implement efficient numbering and bundling of cut panels, tailored to specific requirements. * Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, production, quality, and IPE, to drive seamless day-to-day operations. * Escalate potential issues related to fabric, patterns, or other concerns to management, ensuring prompt resolution. * Provide cutting operators with precise consumption quantities, optimizing production workflows. * Manage spreading processes, fabric control, and internal cutting department operations, ensuring strict quality control. * Develop and deliver training programs for cutting department employees, enhancing skills and knowledge. * Interface with relevant departments to optimize cutting department efficiency and effectiveness. * Implement rigorous waste control measures, minimizing cutting rejection and fabric wastage. * Differentiate fabrics according to quality segregation criteria, ensuring accurate categorization. * Develop, maintain, and submit reports, records, and registers, notifying relevant authorities as required. * Plan, develop, and execute comprehensive cutting strategies, aligning with production schedules and buyer requirements. * Prepare and implement weekly and monthly cutting plans, considering shipment schedules and production capacity. * Attend pre-production meetings, implementing cutting guidelines and ensuring alignment with buyer quality parameters. * Manage high-volume production capacity, overseeing 130 lines and 300k units per day. * Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to excellence.
