Project Manager (Re-advertisement)

* Drive the PROGRESS project forward, ensuring timely implementation and achievement of objectives, while maintaining strong relationships with local authorities, government officials, community leaders, stakeholders, donors, and project staff. * Architect and oversee the development of work plans and intervention designs, proactively identifying challenges and developing adaptive management plans to ensure successful project execution. * Manage the project budget, tracking fund utilization, ensuring donor compliance, and achieving value for money, while providing supervision and mentorship to project staff to enhance their technical skills and implementation capabilities. * Foster a culture of motivation and professional growth among project staff, while maintaining coordination and networking with all levels of stakeholders to achieve high-quality programs. * Lead the development of an effective knowledge management system, utilizing existing project resources to maintain knowledge development plans and documentation systems. * Deliver training and mentoring to project team members, promoting a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement, while identifying and implementing capacity-building initiatives for project staff and community partners. * Conduct performance assessments, providing constructive feedback to enhance team effectiveness, and support the recruitment and onboarding of new team members to ensure seamless integration into the project. * Build and maintain effective relationships with government officials, community leaders, and other key stakeholders, facilitating alignment of project activities with local service delivery systems and strengthening these systems. * Represent the PROGRESS project at local forums, engaging with policymakers and community influencers, and develop partnerships with local NGOs and private sector organizations to achieve project goals. * Drive stakeholder engagement, ensuring that the project is well-represented and that the needs of all stakeholders are met, while promoting a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
