Junior Accounts Officer

* Spearhead daily financial transaction recording, ensuring precise and timely logging of fuel sales, lubricant sales, and service charges in designated financial systems. * Architect inventory management processes, conducting regular stock reconciliations to identify discrepancies and potential fraud, and implementing corrective measures to optimize fuel levels and sales records. * Drive cash and bank management operations, processing daily cash collections, preparing bank deposits, and performing regular bank reconciliations to guarantee accurate cash flow. * Manage accounts payable and receivable, overseeing fuel delivery invoices, supplier payments, and credit sales to corporate and fleet clients, ensuring timely and efficient transaction processing. * Oversee petty cash disbursements, recording and tracking small daily operational expenses for station maintenance, office supplies, and miscellaneous costs. * Collaborate with senior staff to develop and deliver weekly and monthly financial reports, including sales summaries and expense statements, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions. * Ensure VAT and tax compliance, maintaining meticulous government records, such as VAT books, and facilitating timely tax return submissions to regulatory authorities. * Champion data entry and management, utilizing accounting software like Tally, SAP, or QuickBooks to maintain accurate, up-to-date, and accessible digital financial records.
