Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead commercial operations, fostering transparent relationships with top management and driving business growth across multiple entities, including Barnali Textile & Printing Industries (Pvt.) Ltd, Barnali Collections Ltd, and Pack & Trim Collections. * Oversee and manage all commercial activities, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with regulatory requirements. * Architect and implement documentation and certification processes for new company formations, including licenses, registrations, and permits, and ensure timely renewals. * Drive procurement strategies, identifying raw material requirements, negotiating prices, and determining payment terms, while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Lead import and export activities, including cash incentives, in-bond, ex-bond, and customs compliance, ensuring alignment with national and international standards and regulations. * Foster strong relationships with government authorities, resolving compliance-related issues and ensuring adherence to laws and regulations, such as UCPDC, Import Policy, and VAT & SD Act. * Manage export documentation, negotiate with banks, and facilitate repatriation of proceeds, while ensuring compliance with customs regulations and guidelines. * Conduct thorough customs audits, monitor shipping lines, and negotiate with service providers to optimize logistics and shipping operations. * Develop and implement indemnity bond arrangements, ensuring timely release of goods and bond maturity. * Supervise and coordinate activities with BKMEA, C & F agents, and insurance providers, controlling expenses and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. * Analyze yarn usage, ensuring maximum wastage allowance, and optimize insurance policies, negotiating claims and resolving issues as needed. * Prepare and submit financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.

  • At least 02 years as GM or equivalent
  • Commercial work experience in knit Composite Garments Industry
  • Strong English communication skill
  • Knowledge of customs & International Trade rules
  • Knowledge of Bank activities and import/export rules
  • Clearing & Forwarding (C&F) knowledge
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Dynamic personality
  • High correspondence, analytical and leadership ability
