Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead Welfare and Compliance initiatives, driving seamless issue resolution and fostering a positive work environment.
* Design and deliver training programs, leveraging the Training Calendar to upskill employees and maintain meticulous records.
* Foster collaborative relationships between management and workers, promoting open communication and conflict resolution.
* Champion employee grievances, ensuring prompt and fair resolution to maintain a harmonious workplace.
* Drive the adoption of healthy labor-management practices, underpinned by transparency, respect, and trust.
* Implement and monitor social compliance, adhering to buyer codes of conduct and local labor laws to ensure factory-wide adherence.
* Stay abreast of local laws and labor acts, providing expert guidance to management and workers alike.
* Conduct regular compliance audits, preparing comprehensive reports to inform management decisions.
* Oversee fire safety and prevention measures, including equipment maintenance, training, and drill exercises.
* Monitor and address daily health and safety concerns, including workplace hazards, discipline, and harassment.
* Develop and implement training programs on fire prevention, labor laws, and compliance, tailored to specific factory sections.
* Collaborate with readymade garment manufacturing units to prepare for social and ethical compliance audits, ensuring seamless audit processes.
* Identify and rectify compliance discrepancies, working closely with management to implement corrective actions.
* Ensure timely provision of employee benefits, including leave, rest facilities, salary, and compensation, in accordance with labor laws.
* Develop and implement performance improvement strategies, aligned with compliance and labor laws, to enhance employee performance.
* Cultivate strong, peaceful relationships between factory management, top management, and workers, underpinned by mutual respect and trust.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
- Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)
