Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead end-to-end logistics operations for raw materials and finished goods, driving timely and efficient deliveries. • Architect and maintain a centralized database for customer deliveries, shipment records, and sailing schedules, ensuring seamless information exchange with the CS department. • Develop and implement optimized route plans, leveraging expertise in air and sea freight operations to streamline delivery schedules. • Negotiate with logistics providers to secure cost-effective freight rates while upholding service quality and reliability standards. • Generate and disseminate critical reports, including delivery reports, customer-specific reports, and supplier reports, to stakeholders on a weekly and monthly basis. • Design and maintain accurate logistics records, shipment data, and documentation to facilitate audit compliance and transparency. • Lead claims management efforts, investigating shipment discrepancies, damages, or losses, and driving resolution through proactive follow-up and coordination with logistics operators and suppliers. • Foster collaborative relationships with nominated logistic operators and suppliers, ensuring synchronized shipment coordination and issue resolution. • Drive process improvements, leveraging in-depth knowledge of logistics operations to identify opportunities for cost savings, service enhancements, and operational efficiencies. • Develop and maintain comprehensive records of purchase orders, shipping, invoicing, VAT, and tracking, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Education

  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field

Additional

  • Only Male
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, preferably in the garments (RMG) industry
  • Hands-on experience in road transportation and distribution operations
  • Experience working with transporters, depot management, and C&F agents
  • Good negotiation skills for freight and transport cost control
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); ERP knowledge will be an added advantage
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Bangla
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong leadership and team management capability
