Key Responsibilities
• Spearhead fish farming operations, overseeing pond preparation, stocking, and harvesting to drive efficiency and productivity.
• Champion fish health and wellbeing, closely monitoring growth rates, mortality, and taking proactive measures to address any issues.
• Optimize feed management, leveraging data to minimize waste and maximize feed conversion ratios.
• Drive water quality management, regularly testing and maintaining parameters such as pH, oxygen, and temperature to ensure a healthy environment.
• Architect and implement robust biosecurity protocols to prevent disease outbreaks and protect fish populations.
• Foster strategic partnerships with hatcheries to source high-quality fingerlings, ensuring the best possible start for fish stocks.
• Lead data-driven decision making, maintaining meticulous daily records of farm production, and generating insightful reports to inform business decisions.
• Provide expert technical guidance and support to farm workers, conducting regular field visits to ensure best practices are adopted.
• Ensure seamless compliance with environmental and safety regulations, prioritizing the wellbeing of both people and the planet.
• Collaborate in strategic planning, helping to set and execute production targets and budgets that drive business growth and success.

- Understanding water quality and disease control
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
