OPU and IVF Officer (OIO)

* Spearhead oocyte collection, in vitro fertilization, and in vitro culture procedures to drive embryo production * Oversee semen processing, including thawing, capacitation, and sperm selection to optimize fertilization outcomes * Lead embryo grading and selection for transfer or freezing, ensuring high-quality specimens * Architect and maintain a sterile laboratory environment, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and international guidelines * Utilize microscopes for precise embryo handling and examination * Develop and manage culture media and lab reagents to support embryo growth and development * Drive data collection and analysis, tracking key performance indicators such as IVF data, fertilization rates, and blastocyst rates * Manage digital and manual lab records, ensuring accuracy and compliance * Create informative reports on embryo production performance to inform strategic decisions * Collaborate with veterinarians to coordinate donor and recipient management, as well as embryo transfer programs in field conditions * Implement robust quality control measures, including biosecurity and contamination control protocols, to meet international IVF standards (ICAR/IETS guidelines) * Assist in donor selection and management to optimize embryo production outcomes
