Key Responsibilities
• Drive finishing operations to achieve exceptional quality and efficiency, encompassing trimming, ironing, inspection, folding, and packing.
• Champion product excellence by ensuring compliance with buyer specifications and standards.
• Architect capacity planning and production targets to maximize finishing output and meet daily goals.
• Analyze key performance indicators, such as DHU, RFT, and shipment readiness, to inform data-driven decisions.
• Optimize line balancing and workforce utilization to boost productivity and efficiency in the finishing section.
• Foster collaborative relationships with Quality, IE, and Production teams to ensure seamless workflow and issue resolution.
• Spearhead timely completion of finishing processes to meet critical shipment deadlines.
• Identify and rectify bottlenecks, implementing corrective actions to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor and mitigate rework, defects, and rejection rates to maintain high-quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to buyer requirements, audit standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain robust documentation, reports, and finishing MIS to support informed decision-making.
• Lead and develop the finishing team through targeted training, guidance, and performance coaching.
• Promote a culture of discipline, safety, and housekeeping (5S) to maintain a world-class work environment.
• Align with Planning and Commercial teams to coordinate shipment schedules and optimize logistics.
• Drive cost control initiatives and optimize resource utilization in finishing to achieve operational excellence.
