Key Responsibilities
* Drive the development and implementation of gender-sensitive, inclusive, and participatory initiatives to enhance community empowerment and women's empowerment under the Integrated Development Programme (IDP).
* Architect and execute annual and monthly work plans to achieve programmatic targets, ensuring effective program delivery and alignment with BRAC's values and objectives.
* Lead field monitoring and follow-up activities to ensure proper implementation of gender and community empowerment initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and providing technical guidance to implementers.
* Design and facilitate capacity development sessions on gender and community empowerment for staff, communities, and stakeholders, promoting a culture of inclusivity and participation.
* Champion the planning and execution of events related to Gender, Community Empowerment, and Legal Protection components, fostering community engagement and social change.
* Foster strategic partnerships with BRAC-SELP, GJD, government agencies, NGOs, and local government institutions to leverage resources, expertise, and support for IDP initiatives.
* Empower community theatre groups to promote social awareness and community engagement, driving positive change and social mobilization.
* Manage timely and accurate reporting to relevant management, informing data-driven decision-making and program optimization.
* Ensure a safe and secure working environment by promoting and implementing safeguarding policies, procedures, and standards, protecting programme participants, team members, and communities from harm, abuse, and exploitation.
* Provide expert guidance and support on safeguarding, encouraging a culture of transparency, accountability, and reporting, and ensuring that all incidents are reported and addressed in a timely and effective manner.
