Assistant Engineer- Mechanical (Internal Audit)

* Spearhead technical and compliance audits of mechanical systems, utilities, and equipment across TBG's business units, sites, and projects to ensure optimal performance and adherence to standards. * Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of mechanical facilities, including HVAC systems, pumps, and generators, to identify areas for improvement. * Drive financial oversight by analyzing mechanical-related expenditures, utility bills, and maintenance costs against budgets, contracts, and other relevant documents. * Lead reviews of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities to ensure alignment with standard operating procedures, equipment manuals, and manufacturer guidelines. * Analyze energy and fuel consumption patterns, meter readings, and operational efficiency to detect anomalies and opportunities for optimization. * Evaluate contractor performance and quality of mechanical work against technical standards and contractual requirements. * Identify and mitigate internal control weaknesses, mechanical deficiencies, safety hazards, and operational risks, providing actionable recommendations for improvement. * Develop and maintain comprehensive audit checklists, notes, and technical reports to inform audit management decisions. * Track and monitor the implementation of corrective actions across Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Facility Management departments to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
