Lab Officer/Assistant Supervisor - Textile Lab, Dhaka

* Drive colourfastness testing operations, leveraging expertise in international standards to ensure accurate sample preparation and test conduction. * Lead colourfastness assessments, applying in-depth knowledge to deliver reliable results. * Manage shift-wise duties, including morning, evening, and night shifts, to ensure seamless lab operations. * Maintain meticulous documentation, adhering to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards. * Architect fibre analysis and flammability testing protocols, staying up-to-date with international standards. * Conduct comprehensive fibre and flammability tests, ensuring accuracy and precision. * Manage flexible shift schedules, including morning, evening, and night shifts, to support lab productivity. * Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 documentation requirements. * Oversee physical lab operations, monitoring job progress and testing workflows. * Execute tests according to established methods and SOPs, maintaining quality control parameters. * Provide timely updates on job progress to internal coordinators, ensuring transparency and efficiency. * Manage testing workflows to meet company expectations for turnaround time (TAT). * Verify test methods and results, escalating any deviations to immediate superiors for validation. * Maintain equipment performance and calibration records, ensuring accuracy and reliability. * Supervise testing activities, ensuring adherence to prescribed protocols and PPE usage. * Monitor staff performance, arranging training sessions and maintaining training records. * Manage consumable item stock, notifying management when orders are required to prevent stockouts.
