Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead daily cash management, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions, and maintaining up-to-date subsidiary ledgers and cash books.
* Drive accounts management, collaborating in the preparation of balance sheets, budgets, and financial forecasts to inform business decisions.
* Oversee petty cash, cash flow, and disbursement processes, implementing efficient controls and procedures to minimize risk.
* Architect and maintain inventory records, supervising documentation for productive items and fixed asset acquisitions to ensure seamless asset management.
* Champion the effective utilization of the ERP system across all functional units, including factory operations, to drive process efficiency and productivity.
* Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Costing, Procurement, and Internal Audit, as well as external partners, to facilitate smooth business operations.
* Manage banking activities, including trade finance, letter of credit, and other financial transactions, under the guidance of the Functional Head.
* Analyze and prepare daily financial reports, including receipts and payments, to provide insights for management decision-making.
* Develop and present key financial statements, such as Current Assets and Current Liabilities, to support management review and strategic planning.
* Assist in crafting organizational budgets, financial forecasts, and disbursement plans to drive business growth and stability.
* Deliver weekly financial reports, providing timely and accurate information to management.
* Perform bank reconciliations, monitor accounts receivable and payable, and maintain bank liability files to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
* Build and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
* Design and implement a robust financial record-keeping system, ensuring seamless documentation and audit readiness.
* Embrace a flexible and adaptable approach, undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned by Management to support business objectives.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- MBA in Finance/Accounting or professional certifications (CA-CC, CMA, ACCA – partly qualified)
