Transport Supervisor

• Spearhead the development and execution of daily transportation schedules to ensure seamless staff commute • Oversee and regulate vehicle movement, leveraging log sheets, logbooks, and GPS tracking to optimize routes and reduce downtime • Drive vehicle maintenance and upkeep, scheduling regular servicing and repairs to minimize disruptions and extend vehicle lifespan • Maintain meticulous records of vehicle performance, driver activity, fuel consumption, and incident reports to inform data-driven decisions • Architect and manage driver duty rosters, fostering a culture of discipline and compliance to ensure exceptional service delivery • Analyze fuel usage patterns and generate monthly consumption reports to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency gains • Ensure all vehicle documentation, including tax tokens, fitness certificates, insurance, and route permits, is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements • Develop and manage a comprehensive database of company vehicles, capturing key information and performance metrics to support strategic planning • Coordinate prompt emergency repairs and troubleshoot on-spot mechanical issues to minimize downtime and maintain business continuity • Provide operational support and perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management to drive business objectives and excellence
