Assistant Manager / Manager – Logistics & Distribution

* Spearhead logistics, distribution, and fleet maintenance operations to drive efficient goods movement, timely delivery, and optimized transportation costs. * Architect inventory management strategies through meticulous planning, overseeing logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service functions to ensure seamless operations. * Drive daily transportation activities, ensuring streamlined distribution and prompt product delivery. * Foster cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Manufacturing teams to align production schedules, storage planning, delivery plans, and pending deliveries. * Develop and execute logistics and distribution strategies to boost operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance. * Monitor key performance indicators, including delivery quality, lead times, transportation costs, and maintenance expenses to inform data-driven decisions. * Negotiate and secure cost-effective contracts with transportation and logistics service providers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions. * Design and implement preventive maintenance schedules for transport vehicles to minimize downtime and optimize fleet performance. * Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, and operational costs to ensure transparency and accountability. * Craft and submit timely logistics, distribution, and fleet-related reports to management, providing actionable insights and recommendations. * Embrace a flexible approach, taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support the organization's evolving needs.
