Key Responsibilities

* Drive high-quality patient care by assisting nurses and doctors in delivering medical treatments and activities, adhering to universal hygiene standards, MSF protocols, and procedures. * Collaborate with nurses to organize and provide patient care, ensuring respect for hygiene, safety, comfort, dignity, medical secrecy, and patient confidentiality, and respond promptly to emergency requests. * Monitor patients' conditions, reporting relevant information to nurses and providing support with daily activities such as feeding, personal hygiene, and mobility to compensate for potential autonomy gaps. * Identify and report issues in the care unit, including equipment or medicine loss, damage, or theft, to ensure a safe and efficient environment. * Maintain a clean and organized working environment, including facilities, materials, and equipment, and manage waste disposal according to established protocols. * Foster a spirit of teamwork by working closely with nurses, cleaners, caretakers, and other stakeholders to achieve common goals. * Engage actively in hospital platforms, meetings, committees, training sessions, and basic health education programs to enhance knowledge and skills. * Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of biomedical equipment, following user manuals and protocols, and alert supervisors to any device malfunctions. * Conduct pre-screening of patients as needed, following established strategies and protocols, and provide clear information on service modalities and referral processes. * Support nurses in conducting malnutrition screenings, including taking MUAC, oedema, and Z-score measurements, and carry out delegated care tasks under nurse supervision. * Prioritize patient security during medical procedures by adhering to IPC rules, wearing PPE, and following established safety protocols.

  • Higher Secondary School Certificate
  • Diploma in Medical related field

Additional

  • Vaccination or training organized/recognized by MoH
  • NGO experience
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and understanding Bengali
  • Speaking and understanding Rohingya dialect
  • English language
