Buying QA Officer (Knit & Woven)

* Drive quality assurance for knit and woven product lines, ensuring compliance with buyer specifications and technical packs. * Architect and implement quality control processes, including sample approval, fabric inspection, and production monitoring. * Lead the review and analysis of fabric inspection reports, identifying potential issues with shrinkage, shade variation, and color fastness. * Manage the production process from start to finish, overseeing weaving, knitting, dyeing, cutting, sewing, and finishing to ensure high-quality garments. * Develop and execute inline inspection plans, adhering to AQL standards and identifying areas for improvement. * Identify and mitigate risks such as shade mismatch, poor workmanship, and other non-conformities, collaborating with factories to implement corrective action plans. * Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including QA/QC, merchandising, and planning, to ensure seamless production and on-time shipment. * Analyze and report on factory performance, ensuring adherence to buyer quality and compliance standards, and driving continuous improvement. * Streamline quality control processes, leveraging ERP systems and Google trackers to track progress and update stakeholders. * Champion a culture of quality and compliance, evaluating factory performance and providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
