Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead community engagement and mobilization efforts for natural resource management and disaster risk reduction initiatives * Drive capacity-building activities, including trainings, workshops, and learning events to enhance community resilience * Lead stakeholder identification and mapping, fostering strong relationships with key community groups, government agencies, and private sector partners * Design and implement data collection and monitoring systems to track project progress, identify gaps, and inform data-driven decision-making * Architect distribution plans for inputs, materials, and equipment, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to beneficiaries * Facilitate the implementation of climate-resilient and nature-based solutions for land rehabilitation and watershed management * Manage and analyze data on nursery production, stock, and sales, providing insights to inform project optimization * Coordinate logistics and arrangements for donor and stakeholder visits, ensuring effective communication and representation of project achievements * Develop and maintain strong relationships with government counterparts, representing the organization in Upazila-level coordination forums * Champion accountability and transparency, ensuring beneficiaries are informed of their rights and feedback mechanisms, and that all complaints are addressed in a timely and effective manner * Drive project implementation, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to ensure high-quality outcomes

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor/HonorsBachelor’s degree in forestry
  • Environmental Science
  • Agroforestry
  • Zoology
  • Disaster Management
  • Geography or related discipline

Additional

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in supporting programme and/or project implementation
