Executive / Senior Executive - Quality Assurance (Wet Process) - Genesis Fashions Ltd. (Wash)

* Drive quality control initiatives for washing processes, including enzyme wash, stone wash, and acid wash, to ensure adherence to approved standards. * Architect and implement process controls, monitoring chemical dosage, water temperature, pH levels, and process time to optimize washing outcomes. * Lead in-line and final inspections of washed garments, verifying shade, hand feel, appearance, and washing effects against approved benchmarks. * Conduct comprehensive testing, including shade variation, color fastness, shrinkage, and dimensional stability, to guarantee product quality. * Identify and document defects, such as back staining, patchiness, and fabric damage, to inform corrective action and process improvement. * Manage quality records, test reports, and inspection logs, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. * Develop and distribute daily quality reports and corrective action reports, facilitating data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. * Ensure seamless compliance with ISO, GOTS, OEKO-TEX, ZDHC, and buyer requirements, supporting buyer audits and inspections as needed. * Foster cross-functional collaboration with merchandising, production, and lab teams to address quality issues and drive process enhancements. * Analyze root causes of defects, implementing corrective and preventive actions to minimize rework and rejection rates. * Champion process improvement initiatives, streamlining washing processes and reducing waste to optimize efficiency and productivity. * Oversee chemical handling and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment and adherence to regulatory standards. * Provide support for special projects and tasks as assigned by management, driving business growth and excellence.
