Key Responsibilities
* Drive the development of annual and quarterly budgets for all manufacturing units, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and create accurate projections, enabling informed decision-making.
* Architect and implement cost control measures, monitoring budget utilization to optimize resource allocation.
* Calculate and analyze comprehensive cost per piece, incorporating all production stages and inputs.
* Analyze consumption patterns of key materials, such as yarn, dyes, chemicals, and trims, to identify areas for improvement.
* Design and maintain Cost of Making (CM) and FOB cost sheets for buyers, ensuring transparency and competitiveness.
* Lead the monitoring of yarn price fluctuations, assessing their impact on costing and adjusting strategies accordingly.
* Develop and track key performance indicators, including knitting cost per kg and fabric cost per meter/kg.
* Implement efficient yarn utilization strategies, minimizing waste and optimizing production processes.
* Calculate and control dyeing costs, taking into account shade, GSM, and fabric type to ensure cost-effectiveness.
* Manage chemical and utility consumption, focusing on water, steam, and electricity to reduce waste and costs.
* Conduct batch-wise costing and efficiency analysis to identify areas for improvement.
* Track and analyze cost per process, spanning knitting, dyeing, finishing, and sewing to optimize production costs.
* Perform variance analysis to compare actual vs. standard consumption, highlighting opportunities for cost reduction.
* Identify and prioritize areas for cost reduction and process improvement, driving business growth and competitiveness.
* Develop pre-costing and post-costing reports for each order, evaluating order profitability and margin analysis.
* Support the merchandising team in price negotiations with buyers, providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
* Monitor inventory levels of key materials, including yarn, chemicals, dyes, and accessories, to ensure efficient stock management.
* Analyze and address wastage in knitting, dyeing, and cutting processes, implementing measures to minimize loss.
* Design and implement process improvements to reduce waste and optimize production efficiency.
* Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports, providing stakeholders with timely and actionable insights.
* Develop and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports, enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.

- BBA/MBA (Finance/Accounting) or equivalent
