Merchandiser / Senior Merchandiser (Production)

• Order Execution & Planning: Develop and manage a detailed Time and Action (T&A) Calendar or Critical Path (CP) to track every stage of the order from receipt to shipment.• Sampling Management: Oversee the development and approval of all sample types, including Proto, Fit, Size-set, and Pre-production (PP) samples.• Sourcing & Material Management: Coordinate the procurement and in-housing of fabrics and accessories, ensuring they are approved and available before production starts.• Costing & Negotiation: Finalize accurate garment costing sheets (including fabric consumption, trims, and CM) and negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers and buyers.• Production Oversight: Lead Pre-production (PP) meetings with quality and production teams to clarify tech packs, workmanship standards, and production targets.• Quality & Compliance: Partner with the QA team to monitor inline and final inspections (AQL) and ensure products meet buyer testing parameters and quality standards.• Buyer Communication: Maintain daily liaison with international buyers regarding order status, sample comments, and conflict resolution.• Shipment & Documentation: Coordinate with commercial and logistics departments to ensure accurate shipping documents (PI, invoices, packing lists) and on-time vessel booking.• Leadership (For Senior Post): Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance reviews for junior team members, ensuring departmental KPIs are met.
