Key Responsibilities

A Leading Private Commercial Bank is looking for Experienced Official/s for the following post: Job Title: Head of Liability (Retail Distribution) Place of Posting: Retail Distribution Division, Head Office Employment Status: Permanent in the rank up to Senior Vice President.Key Responsibilities:• To drive growth, management, and optimization of the Bank’s liability portfolio, including deposits and other funding sources, ensuring profitability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.• Develop and implement liability acquisition and growth strategies across retail, SME, and corporate segments• Monitor deposit portfolio, pricing, and product performance to ensure profitability and competitiveness• Lead the team in achieving deposit mobilization targets and CASA growth• Strengthen customer acquisition, retention, and cross-selling initiatives• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations and internal policies• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for innovative liability products• Prepare reports, dashboards, and analysis for senior management review• Coordinate with branches and digital channels for efficient product delivery• Provide guidance and training to team members to improve performance

Requirements

Education

  • • Bachelor/Honors • Masters • However preference shall be given to the candidates having degree preferably in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, or related field.

Additional

  • • Age At most 55 years Age – Maximum 55 Years as of April 30, 2026.Experience Requirements• Minimum 10 years of experience in Product and Process Development preferably in Bank. Additional Requirements:• Must have adequate knowledge on Retail Banking/Liability Management and other relevant rules/regulations. • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational abilities. • Proven ability to manage teams and drive operational excellence.
