Key Responsibilities

* Drive customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality food products that meet Brand standards. * Lead the preparation of baked goods, appetisers, salads, and desserts for banquets, room service, and special events. * Architect exceptional culinary experiences by working on the floor, carving meats, and managing pasta and omelette stations. * Manage orders efficiently, ensuring timely preparation and delivery. * Collaborate with breakfast and lead cooks to prepare lines and set up for forecasted covers. * Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, including coolers, storage areas, and equipment. * Source food and supplies in accordance with company policy and procedures. * Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including ranges, ovens, and fryers. * Deliver value-added service to customers, exceeding expectations whenever possible. * Develop and train employees to provide exceptional customer service, utilising one-on-one training techniques. * Foster effective communication with customers, colleagues, and supervisors. * Demonstrate teamwork and cooperation, supporting colleagues as needed. * Monitor and counsel employees on service standards, promoting a 'Yes I Can' attitude. * Resolve difficult situations efficiently and effectively. * Meet and exceed 'Yes I Can' service standards, providing personal attention and taking responsibility for guest satisfaction. * Listen, empathise, and resolve guest complaints, following through on solutions. * Proactively identify and address guest concerns, using discretion and judgment. * Embody the service brand behaviour and genuine hospitality, performing duties with enthusiasm and dedication. * Maintain a professional image, adhering to hotel grooming and hygiene standards. * Prioritise safety, following all rules and procedures to minimise hazards. * Keep management informed of issues and concerns, ensuring prompt resolution. * Perform duties efficiently and effectively, aligning with company policies and procedures. * Foster a positive working relationship with colleagues, promoting a harmonious and cooperative work environment. * Represent the Brand favourably, projecting a positive image to the public at all times.
