Senior Fashion Designer/ Assistant Manager (Women`s Division) - Design & Development, Sailor

* Spearhead the development of innovative design concepts by analyzing global and local fashion trends and translating them into garments and accessories that embody the Sailor's brand essence. * Architect compelling seasonal collections by creating mood boards, color palettes, and themes that bring design concepts to life. * Drive range planning and collection development by forecasting trends, preparing seasonal range plans, and developing style-wise collections that meet commercial objectives. * Lead the design development process, ensuring that it supports category-wise sales and merchandising strategies and aligns with approved range plans. * Develop and deliver accurate Tech Packs, artworks, prints, and layouts that are production-ready and technically accurate, guiding the product development team to efficient sample development and timely approvals. * Foster cross-functional collaboration with Design, Marketing, Merchandising, Suppliers, and Production teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment of design direction with marketing insights and merchandising intelligence. * Manage supplier relationships, sourcing materials, and collaborating with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and timeline targets, while ensuring supplier compliance with design specifications and quality expectations. * Oversee product development with third-party stakeholders and vendors, providing guidance and expertise to ensure design integrity and addressing design-related production issues. * Champion production and quality oversight, monitoring product development from sampling to production stage, and implementing corrective actions to ensure design integrity and quality expectations are met.
