Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead the creation of a centralized material intelligence system, encompassing a comprehensive database of accessories, specifications, and sourcing origins to drive informed decision-making. * Architect a standardized material classification framework, mapping products across categories to ensure consistency and efficiency. * Drive data excellence, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and usability of material information for cross-functional teams to leverage. * Develop and implement a strategic framework for local vs. import sourcing decisions, balancing business objectives with supply chain considerations. * Uncover opportunities for volume leverage by analyzing material consumption patterns and identifying areas for optimization. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with overall business goals, fostering a cohesive approach to material planning and sourcing. * Champion compliance with the company's approved supplier framework, ensuring strong adherence across all applicable materials and suppliers. * Design and execute supplier allocation strategies to maximize consistency, reliability, and value creation, driving long-term partnerships and growth. * Foster strong relationships with nominated suppliers, understanding their capabilities, capacity, and development opportunities to inform sourcing decisions. * Monitor and address deviations from approved sourcing strategies, ensuring proactive risk management and mitigation. * Lead cross-functional coordination with factories' merchandising and procurement teams to execute defined sourcing strategies and resolve material-related challenges. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing visibility, efficiency, and sourcing discipline to stay ahead of industry trends and challenges. * Track and analyze key metrics, including material standardization, local sourcing adoption, and supplier compliance, to inform data-driven decisions. * Provide actionable insights and reports to management, highlighting sourcing trends, risks, and opportunities to shape business strategy and growth.

Additional

  • Strong knowledge of accessories materials and local supplier market
  • Experience working with material ordering matrix and BOM control
  • Good understanding of production planning and supply chain flow
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
  • Strong sense of ownership, commitment to quality, and service-oriented mindset
