Production Planning & Control Manager

* Drive production planning and control strategies to achieve on-time delivery, optimal capacity utilization, and efficient resource allocation. * Architect monthly, weekly, and daily production plans for woven garments, aligning with buyer orders, shipment schedules, and factory capacity. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, production, supply chain, warehouse, and quality, to ensure seamless workflow and achieve company production targets. * Develop and execute style-wise and line-wise production loading plans, optimizing capacity and resource allocation for cutting, sewing, washing, finishing, and packing sections. * Manage capacity planning, taking into account SMV, line efficiency, manpower availability, and machine capability to ensure realistic scheduling. * Ensure timely availability of raw materials, trims, and accessories by coordinating with sourcing and warehouse teams. * Monitor production progress in real-time, tracking cutting plans, sewing input/output, finishing status, and shipment readiness to maintain a smooth workflow. * Identify and address production bottlenecks, taking corrective actions to ensure on-time shipment and minimize delays. * Implement effective WIP control, avoiding overproduction or shortages and ensuring optimal production flow. * Partner with IE to optimize line balancing, capacity, and productivity, driving continuous improvement initiatives. * Work closely with quality and production teams to minimize rework, alterations, and rejection, ensuring high-quality products and on-time delivery. * Prioritize urgent or critical styles, managing rescheduling and changes in buyer requirements or production delays. * Develop and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, tracking efficiency, output, capacity utilization, and shipment status. * Support subcontracting or outsourcing planning, ensuring seamless production when internal capacity is insufficient. * Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing practices, reducing lead time and operational costs while driving continuous improvement. * Supervise and lead the planning team, ensuring accurate data tracking, effective coordination, and compliance with factory policies, safety standards, and buyer requirements. * Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings to review production status, address operational issues, and drive business growth. * Support senior management in achieving production targets, on-time delivery, and overall business objectives.
