Assistant Production Manager (Sewing)

* Spearhead on-time delivery of finished products to drive seamless production workflows and meet divisional objectives. * Champion quality control initiatives, enforcing QMS guidelines and monitoring product standards to ensure exceptional output. * Architect fabric quality management processes, securing QC approvals and overseeing bulk production to guarantee consistency. * Drive data accuracy by inputting critical information into the QMS system, enabling informed decision-making. * Foster cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders to align operations and optimize production from design to delivery. * Identify and address production inefficiencies, leveraging opportunities to enhance overall productivity and efficiency. * Lead the implementation of Operational Excellence and Lean Manufacturing practices to minimize waste and maximize output. * Optimize machinery utilization, reducing Non-Productive Time and process material loss to achieve cost savings. * Orchestrate daily production tasks, delegating responsibilities and coordinating with Pre-Production Planning teams to meet schedules. * Support sample assessments, pattern making, and garment construction, ensuring a thorough understanding of production processes. * Drive manpower optimization initiatives, reducing Excess Over Time and promoting a culture of efficiency. * Streamline shop floor processes, ensuring raw material utilization aligns with inventory availability and minimizing waste. * Coordinate with Supply Chain teams to ensure timely material supply, maintaining a smooth production flow. * Manage section-wise costs, monitoring raw material, yarn, fabric wastage, and layout efficiency to drive cost savings. * Analyze data on energy, raw materials, consumables, and production costs, providing insights for informed decision-making. * Ensure daily reconciliation of unit-wise production costs, maintaining accurate financial records. * Supervise data entry into the company ERP system, ensuring accurate inventory, raw material, and machine capacity tracking. * Collaborate with ERP & MIS teams to generate reports on wastage, dead stock, and rework stock, informing strategic management decisions.
