Medical Technologist - Lab

* Spearhead the collection of blood, urine, stool, sputum, and other body specimens from patients, adhering to established protocols to ensure accuracy and safety. * Oversee the labeling and storage of specimens, implementing measures to prevent contamination or mix-ups and maintaining a high level of organization. * Drive the execution of routine and specialized laboratory tests, including hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, serology, and pathology, utilizing standard equipment and reagents to deliver precise results. * Ensure the proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments, taking initiative to resolve technical issues or malfunctions and reporting any concerns to relevant authorities. * Manage the accurate recording of test results and maintain comprehensive documentation, guaranteeing data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements. * Facilitate clear and effective communication of test results to doctors or relevant departments, providing timely and actionable insights to inform patient care. * Champion internal and external quality control procedures, actively participating in audits and laboratory evaluations to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results. * Foster a culture of cleanliness, sterility, and safety in the laboratory environment, adhering to established safety guidelines and protocols for handling biohazard materials and waste. * Lead by example in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, prioritizing the well-being of patients, colleagues, and the laboratory team.
