DGM / GM - Internal Audit

* Spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive annual internal audit plans to drive operational excellence and financial integrity. * Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and compliance risks across merchandising, production, sourcing, and commercial activities. * Architect and implement robust internal control systems that span multiple departments, ensuring seamless compliance and risk management. * Drive process improvements in merchandising, including order handling, costing, and time-and-attendance management. * Oversee production coordination, monitor delivery timelines, and ensure adherence to buyer requirements and company policies. * Champion audit readiness and certification processes, guaranteeing the organization's preparedness for external audits. * Analyze financial performance, cost sheets, and margins to inform strategic business decisions. * Conduct thorough audits of letter of credit documentation, export processes, and payment tracking to minimize financial risks. * Ensure the accuracy and integrity of invoicing and shipment documentation, reducing the risk of financial discrepancies. * Craft insightful audit reports with actionable recommendations, presenting findings to senior management and the board. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, production, QA, and commercial, to promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement. * Lead, mentor, and develop the internal audit team, fostering a high-performing and motivated workforce. * Drive the implementation of corrective actions, tracking progress and ensuring that recommendations are fully integrated into business operations.
