Key Responsibilities

* Drive the development and implementation of compliance policies and standards across the manufacturing site, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. * Architect and manage a comprehensive compliance program, encompassing audits, reviews, and examinations to guarantee adherence to applicable laws and regulations. * Lead the preparation and presentation of compliance reports to the Board, providing clear and concise insights into compliance performance and areas for improvement. * Foster collaborative relationships with regulators, auditors, and other stakeholders to address compliance issues and ensure seamless interactions. * Oversee the coordination of audit and compliance activities, including documentation, record-keeping, and reporting, to maintain a robust compliance framework. * Develop, implement, and maintain company policies, rules, and regulations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, social ethics, and health and safety requirements. * Conduct regular floor monitoring to identify and address compliance issues, promoting a culture of safety and compliance among employees. * Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee awareness of safety and compliance issues, maintaining accurate training records and promoting a safe working environment. * Ensure factories comply with social ethics, health and safety requirements, and environmental standards, driving a culture of sustainability and responsibility. * Perform internal audits and monitoring to identify non-compliance issues, conducting thorough reviews of Labor Law, Factory Rules, and other national and international legal instruments. * Manage compliance certifications, such as BSCI, Index, OCS, BCI, WRAP, HIGG, FSC, ICS, OEKO-TEX, SEDEX, and RSC/ACCORD, handling audits and requirements to maintain certification. * Implement and maintain Accord/Alliance standards for fire, electrical, and structural safety, creating a safe working environment for all employees. * Coordinate social audits, certification audits, and membership audits, maintaining relationships with buyers, certification bodies, and other stakeholders. * Develop and maintain compliance mechanisms and tools, generating weekly, monthly, and yearly comparative statistical reports to inform compliance decisions. * Adopt, implement, and maintain environmental and chemical standards, such as the Higg Index, to drive sustainability and reduce the organization's environmental footprint. * Conduct regular internal health, safety, and environmental assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. * Review and update legal documents, certificates, and licenses, communicating with relevant authorities to ensure compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements. * Perform routine checks and generate reports, liaising with compliance auditors, fire service, civil defense, labor office, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and address any issues that may arise. * Provide regular compliance updates to management, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with compliance activities and performance.
