Manager - Accounts & Finance

* Spearhead daily accounting functions, including general ledger management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations to ensure seamless financial operations. * Drive timely and accurate financial closing processes, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures, to facilitate informed decision-making. * Develop and present comprehensive financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Accounts, Cash Flow Statements, and Notes to Accounts, to stakeholders. * Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining compliance and mitigating risk. * Collaborate with auditors to facilitate statutory, internal, and tax audits, ensuring transparency and accountability. * Analyze financial reports to identify discrepancies, recommending corrective actions to optimize financial performance. * Architect VAT compliance strategies, ensuring accurate computation of liabilities and input tax credits, and submitting periodic returns within deadlines. * Manage VAT accounts, reconciling with books of accounts, and handling assessments, notices, and correspondence with tax authorities to maintain compliance. * Develop and maintain robust documentation and records for VAT compliance and audits, ensuring ease of access and transparency. * Lead TDS/Withholding Tax compliance efforts, ensuring accurate deductions and timely filing of returns to avoid penalties and fines. * Reconcile TDS ledger balances with filed returns, issuing certificates to vendors and employees as required, and maintaining accurate records.
