* Spearhead the management of testing equipment, including Radio Frequency Testers, Audio, Camera, and Current Testers, to ensure seamless mobile assembly operations. * Drive production efficiency by minimizing machine downtime, maximizing UPH, and implementing proactive maintenance strategies. * Architect model changeovers to meet tight deadlines, minimizing production disruptions and ensuring a smooth transition. * Oversee the Product Innovation Room, storing and managing EOL/inactive model jigs and machines, and ensuring calibration of measurable equipment. * Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans, including weekly and monthly schedules, to optimize machine performance and longevity. * Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables, ensuring timely replenishment and minimizing stockouts. * Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment, reducing downtime and optimizing production workflows. * Analyze process rejections, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. * Stay abreast of technological advancements in mobile assembly testing and packing tools, jigs, and machines, applying insights to drive process improvements. * Identify areas for efficiency gains, recommending changes to tools, processes, reporting, and employee engagement to enhance overall performance. * Collaborate with vendors and SCM on new model launches, procuring necessary jigs and equipment to support production. * Prepare and present regular reports on equipment performance and maintenance, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions. * Design and evaluate skill matrices and training plans for the equipment team, ensuring technicians and engineers have the necessary expertise to excel. * Lead the annual appraisal process for technicians and engineers, providing constructive feedback and guiding career development.
