Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the mechanical maintenance function, driving setup and operational excellence in the cement grinding plant. • Architect a comprehensive maintenance strategy, ensuring seamless equipment reliability and plant readiness. • Develop and execute targeted annual maintenance plans, aligning with organizational objectives. • Design and manage proactive maintenance systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring uninterrupted operations. • Oversee work order management, prioritizing and monitoring requests to ensure timely completion. • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, leading troubleshooting efforts and optimizing interventions. • Champion operational excellence initiatives, streamlining processes and enhancing plant performance. • Optimize departmental workflows, integrating ERP systems for enhanced control and transparency. • Embed sustainability practices, upholding environmental responsibility and ethical standards. • Foster collaborative relationships with government authorities and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance and smooth operations. • Craft and manage the annual departmental budget, optimizing resource utilization and cost-effectiveness. • Implement strategic cost-reduction initiatives, balancing maintenance expenses with operational reliability. • Ensure spare parts planning and inventory control, minimizing downtime and maintenance costs. • Maintain optimal stock levels, coordinating procurement to support maintenance needs. • Standardize and disseminate SOPs, ensuring consistent and efficient operations. • Implement machine health check systems, leveraging CLIT processes to enhance equipment reliability. • Establish a robust reporting culture, tracking performance and informing decision-making. • Monitor key maintenance KPIs, driving continuous improvement and regular review. • Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team, enhancing technical capabilities and performance. • Foster a culture of motivation, engagement, and accountability, providing regular feedback and coaching. • Develop succession plans, ensuring continuity in key roles and processes. • Drive annual departmental planning, execution, and review, tracking progress against defined targets. • Identify areas for improvement, implementing continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance functions.

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
  • Master of Science (MSc)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
