Sr. Executive - Finance

* Spearhead financial reporting by maintaining precise and compliant books of accounts, adhering to IAS, IFRS, and Bangladesh accounting standards. * Drive the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. * Champion robust documentation and record-keeping for all financial transactions, guaranteeing transparency and accountability. * Facilitate internal and external audits by preparing schedules, working papers, and responding to queries, while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. * Identify and address control gaps, recommending process improvements to strengthen internal controls. * Oversee VAT and tax compliance, ensuring adherence to NBR regulations and coordinating with tax consultants and authorities as needed. * Architect and submit VAT returns, tax returns, and related documents, maintaining meticulous records and supporting schedules. * Collaborate in budget preparation and forecasting, analyzing budget vs actual variances and providing insightful explanations. * Develop financial reports and analysis to inform management decision-making, driving cost control and efficiency initiatives. * Foster strong relationships with internal departments, providing financial guidance and support, and liaising with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies. * Deliver ad-hoc financial reports and analysis to management, ensuring timely completion of tasks and meeting deadlines.
