Operational Head - Wash Plant

• Marketing & Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to generate washing orders from third-party clients, Build strong relationships with Buying Houses, Garments Factories, and Merchandising Teams, Actively visit potential clients to secure new business opportunities, Negotiate prices, contracts, and service agreements, Ensure continuous order flow to maintain plant capacity utilization, Achieve monthly/annual revenue and order targets.• Project Planning and Management: Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining objectives, timelines, resource requirements, and budget allocation.• Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise project staff including laundry attendants, supervisors, and administrative personnel. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure that the team is motivated and aligned with project goals.• Operations Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations of the laundry facility, ensuring that laundry processes are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.• Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and garment care. Regularly inspect equipment, review cleaning procedures, and address any issues promptly.• Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of laundry supplies, detergents, and equipment spare parts. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and replenishment of stock.• Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals, adherence to sanitation protocols, and maintenance of a clean and hazard-free work environment.• Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage the project budget, monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or service.• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project performance. Regularly monitor progress against targets and prepare reports for stakeholders.• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.• Environmental Sustainability: Implement eco-friendly practices such as water conservation, energy efficiency, and waste reduction to minimize the environmental impact of laundry operations.• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to laundry operations, including environmental regulations, labor laws, and industry-specific guidelines.• Emergency Preparedness: Develop contingency plans for emergencies such as equipment breakdowns, power outages, or natural disasters to minimize disruptions to laundry operations.• Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in laundry operations, customer service, and safety procedures.
