Key Responsibilities
• Plan and manage hub-level production based on orders, ensuring timely delivery and optimal artisan capacity utilisation
• Monitor daily and weekly production performance, track target vs. achievement, and address gaps proactively
• Ensure quality standards at artisan level through regular checks, rejection tracking, and continuous improvement
• Manage raw materials efficiently — receipt, distribution, consumption tracking, and wastage control
• Lead and maintain the artisan network, including para-based organization, performance monitoring, and expansion
• Develop and support para leaders, conduct regular field visits, and ensure strong artisan relationships
• Identify risks (seasonal, operational, or external) and prepare contingency plans to avoid production disruption
• Build relationships with local stakeholders (government, NGOs, community) to support hub operations
• Ensure financial discipline in hub operations, including artisan payments and expense tracking
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor/Honors
Additional
- Prior experience in handicrafts, textile or natural fibre production coordination
- Familiarity with Satkhira's geography, communities and local organizations
- Experience working with or through NGOs in the Satkhira area
- Has managed artisan payments or community-level financial records
- Knowledge of local seasonal patterns — agricultural calendar, flood risk, festival cycle
- Demonstrated ability to earn trust in a community that has experienced disruption
