Key Responsibilities

* Drive business expansion by developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and boost market share in the freight forwarding industry. * Architect and maintain a robust portfolio of customers, leveraging a strong pipeline of opportunities to fuel growth. * Spearhead the acquisition of new customers for air freight, sea freight, and logistics services, capitalizing on emerging opportunities. * Foster exceptional customer relationships through tailored engagement strategies and proactive issue resolution. * Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements that drive mutual value and growth. * Develop and analyze sales forecasts, budgets, and market trends to inform business decisions. * Lead the development of new trade lanes, agent networks, and lead generation initiatives to propel business growth. * Pioneer the creation of innovative products and services across diverse verticals and segments. * Manage credit realization, ensuring timely and efficient payment processes. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless services and exceed customer expectations. * Monitor competitors, market trends, and industry developments to stay ahead of the curve. * Cultivate long-term partnerships with customers, prioritizing satisfaction and loyalty. * Provide actionable market insights and competitor analysis to inform business strategy and drive growth.

Additional

  • 8–10 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding sales
  • Strong knowledge of overall freight forwarding and shipping services
  • Proven track record of achieving GP targets
  • Excellent negotiation, business communication and Presentation skills
  • Strong client network in import/export industries
  • Ability to lead and motivate the sales team
  • Good command over English
  • Good knowledge in computer applications
